Alright, here is the new contest
This time around you are limited to only submitting structure cards (aka units/buildings that stay at your command center to get some @&$% done)

Only one idea per person
card idea's must be submitted before 13/03/11 (timemachine incompatible)
Post your design as a new thread in this forum section (http://www.revolutionalarts.com/forumdisplay.php?f=78)

Polls will be held as previous but a little sped up

Also keep in mind that TCG has certain ways to keep stuff somewhat balanced. Like how towers are temporal so they can't be just spammed and stall the match.

Making a new contest is a good idea but I think this new one (Structure contest) shouldn't have been launched for now for the following reasons :
- A lot of new cards and features have been created recently. These include some bug and balance issues which need to be fixed prior to new cards.
- There are enough units and structures. Adding some would make the game even more complex and the newbies lost. Even if I prefer playing with pros, i don't wanna see the game turning inaccessible to the newbs. Plus, more battles now look like giant messes (wher players are "all in") than tactical ones.
- Structures are bigger than units and take much room. I can imagine something like some Depots and Baneling Nests in front of 2 Wills, 5 Queens and some new structures. Not mentioning that they can block units.

I would have preferred a Spell Contest but nothing more^^. Now it's done, I should search for a structure idea x)

Contest may be launched now but the winer could be determined after many weeks. Also its for Clord to desice if he wants to acctually include the winer or not :)

The main idea of these contests I think is to generate some more balaced ideas than those we were giving in new card ideas thread. All contest submissions have own thread so it can evolve.

Current number of cards is something above 60 I think. thats now that much to get player confused. And Clord could solve this problem by making something like "Beginer's deck" that is filled with mostly easy to use cards.

I could agree with you about balacing and bugfix though.
